Graduates earn 11 degrees, certificates from Virginia Baptist College


About 45.5 percent of the 11 degrees and certificates handed out by the Virginia Baptist College in 2016-17 were to students in Religious Education, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Fredericksburg conferred 3 bachelor's degrees and 2 master's degrees in Religious Education.

Other popular programs include Bible/Biblical Studies, Bible/Biblical Studies and Bible/Biblical Studies.

The college enrolled 112 students for 2016-17, including 88 in undergraduate programs and 24 in graduate programs.
