City of Mesa issued the following announcement on July 16.
Fall is just a few weeks away and Mesa's recreation programs and classes are the perfect way to keep families active and having fun. Registration is underway for Mesa residents for the 2018 fall season. Programs and activities are offered for all ages and include adult sports, youth sports, adaptive programs, tennis lessons and leagues, swim lessons and teams, school break camps, enrichment classes such as dance, yoga, karate and more. Non-Residents can begin registering on Monday, July 23 at 8 a.m.

Fee assistance is also available for Mesa residents. To qualify, residents must send in or drop off the Fee Assistance form, along with copies of a current Eligibility Notification Letter from Mesa Public Schools Food Service Department Free or Reduced Lunch Program. They can also submit a copy of unemployment verification, nutrition assistance verification, WIC Assistance verification or AHCCCS verification.
Customer Service staff are also available to assist in the registration process at 480-644-PLAY (7529).
