22.8 percent of Eastern Mennonite University students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 22.8 percentage of Eastern Mennonite University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Eastern Mennonite University has 1,098 undergraduate students, of which 63 percent are women and 37 percent are men, and a total student body of 1,530 students. Of these students, 190 men and 159 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Eastern Mennonite University with the most participants are soccer (61), track and field, indoor (54) and track and field, outdoor (54).
