Virginia Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 10.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Michael McCabe as Tata Sons’ Resident Director for North America. “Mike” will be responsible for our government affairs and strategy development across North America and will work with Tata companies to help them strengthen our collective presence and positioning in the United States and Canada.

Mike is a veteran of Tata having worked previously with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) since 2005 where his most recent role was Head of Government Relations for North America. Prior to joining TCS, Mike worked at various public affairs and communications firms where he developed and executed campaigns for a number of leading technology, consulting, education and financial services companies and organizations.

Here’s what he had to say about it: “I’m honored to have been chosen for this role at such an iconic global brand. I’ve seen firsthand that Tata Sons and the Tata companies are committed to growing their investments, creating more jobs, and contributing to the success of the economies and communities across both the United States and Canada, and I look forward to helping us continue that growth.”
