Graduates earn 2,012 degrees, certificates from Regent University


About 26.1 percent of the 2,012 degrees and certificates handed out by Regent University in 2017-18 were to students in education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Beach conferred 313 master's degrees and 142 certificates in education programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in "other" legal professions and studies. Data shows the school gave out 144 master's degrees in "other" legal professions and studies, followed by 106 master's degrees in "other" education and 103 master's degrees in general business administration and management.

The university enrolled 9,488 students for 2017-18, including 4,279 in undergraduate programs and 5,209 in graduate programs.
