Rose hosts reception for high school football team: 'We are happy to be a small part of the special atmosphere now at Providence High School and the football program'

Tyler Plantz, the head football coach for Providence Catholic High School (PCHS) in Frankfort, Illinois, was treated to a warm reception at Chicago Dough Co. on July 23.

The reception was hosted by the Rose family of LFI Real Estate and was attended by Plantz, as well as his players and their families, according to a tweet on July 23.

"We all were so happy to see Tyler and his wife Jana come home to Frankfort to lead Providence High School to the high level of success and recognition Providence strives for,” said Michael Rose, principal partner, and founder of LFI Real Estate. "We are happy to be a small part of the special atmosphere now at Providence High School and the football program and we congratulate Tyler Plantz for his leadership and commitment to excellence."

Rose also said he felt “privileged” to meet the student-athletes that will “thrive under Plantz’s leadership.”

Plantz began his coaching career at Notre Dame in 2015 where he coached under Brian Kelly, according to the PCHS website. Plantz served as Notre Dame’s strength and conditioning coach, an offensive line assistant, as well as senior special teams and offensive analyst. He helped coach Notre Dame to victory in the 2018 Citrus Bowl.

He became the head football coach at PCHS in 2022 and led the Celtics to a 9 – 5 record and a state championship game appearance, according to Max Preps.

Supporting the community is a priority for Chicago Dough Company, according to its website.  The company sponsors local youth sports teams, and school fundraisers, and offers tours of restaurant operations.
